Folks - hear me out! Feeling sad? Want to celebrate any occasion? Want to feel reconnected to your soul? - Come to Dacha and get their Cutlet. My soul left my body, and came back like if I’ve healed from inside out from any trauma I’ve ever experienced. I’ve said it already and I’ll say it again: this cutlet can end any war in the universe! My husband and I love to come to Dacha to experience the most delicious Eastern European food in Bay Area! Seriously- if they’d tell me they somehow got every recipe from my babushka - I would believe it in a heart beat. The service is amazing - everyone there is so sweet, kind and welcoming. Our server kept checking up on us and all the other tables today, making sure everyone is happy with their orders. (I was beyond happy, cuz remember - CUTLET) Knowing this place was built by love, unity and passion of Katya and Suki Skye - this is exactly the place I want to celebrate every milestone at. Please, don’t forget to try their Honey cake - this is simply a sweet variation of the Cutlet (in a spiritual sense). I’ve tried an enormous amount of honey cakes, but this is the best one I’ve had in my life. I highly recommend trying all the dishes to find that particular one that touches your soul the most - and don’t get me wrong, all the dishes are insanely good! Precision, high quality and love! Will always be coming back

The best place in town for dining, enjoying a cocktail, having a romantic night out, or hosting an event. Big thanks to Dacha’s founders, management, and entire team for giving us an amazing opportunity to host our networking event there. We were truly showered with support, hospitality, care, and warmth. Suki and Katya — the founders of Dacha — pour their heart and soul into this place. Every corner speaks to their personal touch, creativity, and passion for bringing the best experience to the market. And we were able to feel those vibes throughout our entire event. On top of that, the cuisine is a masterpiece. The honey cake and the Nalivka are absolute must-tries.

The place is not an authentic Eastern European as one might have expected based on the description. It has a cosmopolitan vibe with some Russian items on the menu. The food was ok, not great. I liked the pirozhki (tried the mushroom one and it was surprisingly interesting), but didn't like the goulash main dish. The goulash was dry, bland and overdone. It was more of a braised meat on mash of squash and sweet potato than anything close to Hungarian goulash. The chicken liver appetizer was nice but very small dish for a price. Czech pilsner canned beer was $14, which is way too much for this drink. Overall nice atmosphere, not very authentic and pricey to my opinion.

I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while as I do enjoy Eastern European flavors. I went with two friends, and we shared some appetizers and then each had our own entrée. Everyone gave it a very positive review. I particularly liked the chopped liver, the perfectly cooked lamb chops and the desserts. There’s a pretty lively bar scene as well. I’ll definitely be returning.

A cozy and vibrant gem in San Francisco Dacha is one of those rare places in San Francisco where you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you step in. The atmosphere is warm and intimate — casual enough to relax, yet elegant enough to feel special. Whether you’re coming in for a full meal or just a drink, there’s a quiet sense of hospitality that makes you want to stay longer. The food is always beautifully plated — you can tell there’s thought and care behind every dish. Their interpretation of classic Eastern European flavors feels fresh, bright, and deeply satisfying. The Mimosa Salad, with its light layers and a surprising touch of crisp apple, was a standout. Every ingredient tasted fresh and seasonal, and the balance of flavors was spot on. The house-made infusions are another highlight. I brought home their passionfruit nastoyka, which has become one of my favorite after-dinner sips. And every time I come back, there’s something new — a creative cocktail, a seasonal dish, or a thoughtful little twist on a familiar flavor. The service here is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. It feels less like a restaurant and more like being a guest in someone’s (stylish) home. Dacha is a place where food, comfort, and creativity come together — a spot I always look forward to returning to.

I liked the experience overall. Appetizers: borsch, chicken pate, pickled vegetables and eggplant were delicious. Garlic pampushka should be more garlicky in my opinion, but that's debatable. For the main courses, the feeling was mixed. I liked my Pozharky Cutlet but not the garnish. It was sweet. Goulash meat was very tender, but also sweet. And then biff stroganoff was not what I expected at all. Meet looked like a kebab that was boiled. Honey cake and Pavlova were excellent. Olesya - our server was grace itself. I would think that they should smooth out some of the kinks, but very nice place. I will try kebabs next time.

I loved everything about the experience. We had a weeding for 21 person at Dacha and the food, the service and vibes were fantastic. You should try their home made vodka - Nastoika on the horse radish - phenomenal!
